What holds you back from GMing?

On autumn 2025 I sent this question to the RPG part of the web. Many people responded: active players, GMs before their debut and those who tried, but got their fingers burned. Their doubts have been confronted with experienced GMs who wanted to share their knowledge.

The effect is Just GM!, a poll edited in form of a manual. You'll find here answers to the most frequent doubts that might hold one back from running their own session. It's an essence distilled from knowledge shared by over 40 GMs' of different experiences, play styles and provenience.

And it's all for you to take, if you wish and if you still think about GMing your first session. If you find the manual useful, feel free to share it with others!
